Northern Goshawk, Immature
Northern Goshawks are seen most every year in the Red River Valley, usually between late Fall to early Spring. Seldom does one get close enough to photograph one. This image of an immature by Dave Lambeth was taken Nov 24, 2003, as it was feeding on a Gray Partridge that it had just caught.
